Day 8 - Saturday 24 March - Port Macquarie to Coopernook - 82.9km
What an experience it will be winding through the forest to arrive in Coopernook! The last night party will be something to remember! As the NSW State Election falls on this day, this year's party theme is politics, so come dressed as your favourite pollie and be prepared for lots of fun!
Coopernook - What’s in town
Coopernook is a peaceful village in a rural setting. The thunder of trucks and heavy traffic has now been replaced by a much more serene rural landscape setting where visitors can soak up the friendly country hospitality of this village community. Coopernook is also a gateway to forest drives through Coopernook State Forest where tall timbers can be admired along with scenic lookouts that showcase coastal and rural panoramas. Some of the best views over the Manning Valley out to the coastline can be enjoyed from Vincent's Lookout in Coopernook State Forest.
